The film screened widely at festivals including the Margaret Mead and Doubletake Documentary Festivals, and at the New York, San Francisco and Toronto Jewish film festivals. Faye is a member of New Day Films, a self-distribution cooperative of activist filmmakers. She recently completed The New Old Country, a film about nostalgia and history on Manhattan’s Lower East Side, and A Good Uplift, a comedic short documentary about a bra shop run by Hasidic Jews. Faye’s work has been supported by organizations including the National Foundation for Jewish Culture, the NY State Council on the Arts, The Funding Exchange/Paul Robeson Fund, The Sister Fund, The Pacific Pioneer Fund, and the Fleischacker Foundation.
